Avast ye skurvy dogs...set sail for an evening of decadence, debauchery, adventure, mayhem and fortune at the first annual “Perverts Of The Caribbean” Kinky Pirate Ball, a surreal fantasy masquerade event based on Pirate lore and Fetish revelry. Whether you be Pervert, Pirate or Pirette (female pirate), you’re invited to show off your piratitude and climb aboard for an evening bound to shiver yer timbers
We’ve assembled a star studded cast of performers from around the US and abroad, several who will be performing in LA for the very first time. There will be continuous performances throughout the evening on the main ballroom stage and secondary stages, as well as dazzling artistic installations all around you.
And don’t forget to bring yer binding leather, ropes and floggers. Should you wish to explore the delights of Davy Jones’ Dungeon, we will have an extensive installation of arcane instruments of pain and pleasure throughout the venue. Just like to watch? We guarantee plenty of sizzling action in the form of ambient performance installations all night long. |

Our venue for the Ball is none other than The El Rey Theatre, one of the most magnificent and historic theatre venues in all of Los Angeles. The lavishly appointed El Rey is an original art deco theater built in 1936 and has achieved the status of a registered Historic-Cultural Monument. For over 50 years it served as a first run movie house, until 1994 when it was converted into an upscale live music venue.
The El Rey has spectacular vaulted ceilings, crystal chandeliers, sweeping staircases, an art deco lobby, a luxurious VIP balcony lounge, three bars, and a visually stunning Grand Ballroom equipped with a full stage, massive dancefloor, concert quality sound, and a state of the art lighting and digital projection system. A diner-style café with outdoor patio seating is also available on site. Valet parking is available for $7 at the front of the venue one hour before door time. There is also a self-parking lot just down the street at 5455 Wilshire. |

For this event, we will make available 125 exclusive VIP & Pre-Ball Passes on a first come, first served basis. This will truly be a VIP (Very Important Pirates & Perverts) experience, allowing you entry to the venue two hours before the start of the Ball and exclusive access all night long to the El Rey’s plush balcony lounge.
